The Tuning Box performance chip is installed between the vehicle’s ECU and engine. It intercepts and optimises data streams in both directions, thereby boosting both torque and power and reducing fuel consumption.

Yes. We offer an engine warranty covering the majority of engine components (cylinder block, camshaft, gearbox, etc.).

The Evolution chiptuning unit comes with a 2-year engine warranty, and the Classic chiptuning unit with a 1-year engine warranty. The warranty even remains valid after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

We pay out up to €5,000 per claim, with no excess.

Yes. We programm each chiptuning unit to work with a specific engine, developing special software for your model. Our technical department uploads the latest version of the software for your vehicle before the unit is shipped.

Yes. Our performance chips make your engine run more efficiently. You move into higher gears more quickly and therefore spend more time driving at lower revs. What’s more, our powerboxes boost injection, and therefore combustion, performance.

These two factors mean a significant reduction in fuel consumption, travelling at the same speed, when compared with a standard vehicle.

No. Our performance chips never exceed your engine’s in-built reserves. Over the last three decades, our customers have travelled millions of kilometres without ever reporting faster engine component wear. And that’s why we’re confident enough to offer an engine warranty!

Yes. Our Tuning Box chiptuning units are compatible with petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric engines. Click here to check which products are available for your vehicle.

Yes. All our chiptuning units are fully compatible with your vehicle’s pollution control systems (particulate filters, AdBlue, etc.) and security systems (ABS, traction control system, ESP, cruise control, etc.).

Yes. Our chiptuning units are fully compatible with both manual and automatic gearboxes.

Yes. A Tuning Box power box is quick and easy to install. As long as you follow the instructions that come with the unit, you can’t go wrong. You don’t need any tools or technical knowledge.

Yes. Depending on the engine specifications of your old and new vehicles, you can reuse your performance chip. However, the unit may need to be reprogrammed. If you have a Tuning Box Evolution, the first reprogramming is free of charge.

Contact our technical department to check whether your  chiptuning unit is compatible with your new vehicle and to find out how to go about getting your unit reprogrammed.

Yes. You can disconnect your Tuning Box at any time. Simply reconnect the original plugs to switch back to factory mode.

You can even switch off the Tuning Box Evolution using the keypad on the case, without uninstalling it.

The performance chip leaves no trace behind, even when your dealer connects your vehicle to the diagnostic equipment.

Some models may be absent from our catalogue because development is still ongoing. If this is the case, please contact our Customer Services team. We’ll let you know when the power box for your vehicle is available.

Every insurance company has its own policy around chiptuning units. You should contact your insurance company directly to find out what their policy is.

The rules on approval vary from country to country. In some countries, installing an powerchip requires approval from an accredited body. No approval is necessary in other countries. Contact the relevant authorities to find out what the law says in your country.

No. The Tuning Box pedal box does not modify your vehicle’s power, so it has no impact on your insurance or your vehicle’s approval.

Standard delivery is free to addresses in Europe. We charge €10 for express delivery.

Outside Europe, shipping costs vary up to a maximum of €50.

If you place your order before 12:00 noon, we’ll ship it the same day. The delivery time varies according to destination. In Europe, it takes 1-4 working days.

You’ll find the tracking number in the order confirmation email. If you have a TuningBox customer account, you’ll also find a tracking number there. If you can’t find your tracking number, contact our Customer Services team.

To track your package’s progress, go to the delivery firm’s website (e.g. TNT, DPD) and enter your tracking number.

We deliver to the majority of countries. You’ll find a full list of the countries we deliver to when placing your order.

You can choose either standard or express delivery. You can also collect the product from Tuning Box in person.

When ordering from our online store, you can pay by credit card (MasterCard and Visa), debit card (Maestro), bank transfer and PayPal.

Yes. You are entitled to return the product within 14 days of receipt of your package.

Please follow the instructions below to return your product to us (within the withdrawal period or under a warranty or guarantee):

Step 1: Download the withdrawal form or the guarantee form, as applicable.

Step 2: Print out and fill in the form. Contact our Customer Services team if you need help.

Step 3: Package your products properly, enclose the form and ship the package to:

Step 4: Once we have received and checked the product, we will issue a refund or exchange.

Yes. Just like the right of withdrawal, you have 14 days from receipt of your package to request an exchange.
